I think it is important to see the good things in life. It's fairly easy to focus on whatever horrible, ugly, mean and frustrating is out there. I love taking a second look and making sure I enjoy facets of life I might have missed out on had I spent the day whining.
Beautiful Things in Falun, Sweden
I went to Sweden in May of 2010 to go to a heavy metal festival. On my trip I saw quite a few neat things:
Swedish pastry is awesome! Just a small snapshot from a display at the mall in Falun. No dammsugare here, but they're just one of the brilliant things that make life worthwhile. On the culinary side that is.
Falun is gorgeous, especially shortly after it has rained:
I have a purple suitcase. It's beautiful. Actually, it's probably only me who thinks it is, but that's fine. I don't think anyone would ever steal it. 1) because it's only pretty to me 2) because it'd take seconds to spot the thief. :D Oh. And ice cream is awesome, too.
Sitting in bed with your wonderful significant other and lots of sushi is always beautiful. People who love and people who love you are awesome and beautiful in general. So is sushi. And so is being in bed. So is travelling. Think about it. Does it get any better than combining these things into being in bed with your s.o. in a foreign country with sushi. Let's not forget we had beer with the sushi. Ah. Life is beautiful.

Travelling in general is something I love. So even though Airports tend to be so busy, stressful and loud with screaming children and annoying people, I always get excited when I get on a plane. And it certainly helps if I can see some beauty in that stressful place.
I hope you enjoy life as much as I do. Take a look at litte things. There are so many of them out there. Il y a vraiment beaucoup de belles choses, il faut seulement que nous les verraient. (correct my French if I'm wrong here. My use of the subjonctif has never been perfect. ^_~)
